Chris Brennan

Chris has over 28 years of operating experience serving on boards and holding positions of CEO, President, COO and CFO in startups and large scale multinational companies in public and privately held organizations. Chris currently serves as CEO of Sofa, Inc., a mobile handset services company providing end-to-end solutions for extended warranty and tiered insurance offerings for retail and business subscribers, claims management/call center operations, logistics and fulfillment inclusive of repair and depot services as well as the insurance policies. Chris is an Operating Partner at TeleSoft.
His broad technical career includes computing, storage, networking, telecommunications, security, infrastructure software and application software for enterprise and service provider markets. His leadership acumen has been proven in sales, strategic planning/marketing, business development inclusive of mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, investments, ventures and licenses in domestic and international markets.
Most recently, Chris was CEO of LogLogic, an innovator and market leader in Log Data Management and Intelligence. He was also CEO of Banter Systems, Inc. and Mobileum, Inc., now Roamware, where he recruited a strong management team, raised $45 million in funding and secured partners such as BEA, TIBCO, Sun, Lucent, Sybase and Genesys. He also guided Mobileum’s merger with UnwiredSoft which became Roamware. He served as CFO at Genesys Telecommunications, Inc., a contact center software company with $140 million in revenue. He was instrumental in repositioning Genesys and completing two acquisitions before the company was acquired by Alcatel. He served as CFO and held various executive positions of Diamond Lane Communication, Inc. and UB Networks, a Division of Tandem Computers Corporation. In addition, Chris has held high level director and management positions at Digital Equipment Corporation, Wang Laboratories, Inc., Atari, Inc., Kaufman & Broad, Inc. and Chevron.
Chris has vast experience serving on the public company boards of Networth, Inc. acquired by Compaq Computers; Extensity, Inc. acquired by GEAC, Inc. and Cintech Solutions, Inc. acquired and taken private.
Chris received a Bachelors of Science in Commerce from the University of Louisville, Kentucky where he remains a National Visiting Committee member to the College of Business and Public Administration.
